I started buying NeeDoh for my 8-year-old daughter and quickly found how frustrating the popular drops could be. When retailers pre-announced a release, there were often so many people on the website at once that getting anything felt almost impossible.

While I was NeeDoh hunting, I kept looking for something that could simply alert me when stock appeared - especially for the unannounced ghost drops - but I couldn't find anything that did what I needed. So I decided to build it myself.

The NeeDoh in this photo are all ones I've managed to get through ghost drops - stock that appeared without being announced in advance. Before SquishSignal, catching those usually meant constantly refreshing websites and simply being in the right place at the right time.
